You still have to polish the axels and true the wheels and

align everything to perfection to get a real championship car.

----But we did have 4 championship 1st place cars through the years!----

The Cub Scouts started out with their own hand-drawn sketches of their car concepts on paper. Then they were thrilled to take part in Solid Modeling the designs in MasterCam. They generated the NC programs, locked and loaded the wood blocks into the CNC, homed the tools and ran the programs! (Under supervision!)   Then they hand-sanded, painted, decorated and raced the cars.       Here we can see a few of the rendered Solid Models.
